Agostina Vega, fue vista por última vez el sábado 23 de mayo de 2026, cuando salió de su casa en Barrio Cofico con la presunta intención de encontrarse con el sospechoso. Tras una angustiante búsqueda de una semana, rastrillajes con perros entrenados permitieron localizar sus restos enterrados bajo tierra en un descampado cercano a barrio Ampliación Ferreyra, al sur de la ciudad de Córdoba. Los primeros informes periciales determinaron que la causa de muerte habría sido ahorcamientos, registrándose también signos de abuso sexual y un posterior desmembramiento del cuerpo para intentar ocultar el crimen. A cinco días del hallazgo del cuerpo de Agostina Vega, este jueves terminó el velorio de la adolescente asesinada en Córdoba y sus familiares le dieron el último adiós en el cementerio. El principal acusado del caso es Claudio Barrelier, imputado por femicidio, aunque la familia de Agostina sospecha que hay más implicados.. Esta mañana terminó el velatorio y los familiares de la chica asesinada acompañaron el féretro al cementerio. Aun se desconocen el rastro de los complices del asesinato a la menor.
